Our Reindeer Run Cruise was held on December 16th. We met at Walmart, then cruised through town to Ediz Hook. Pictures were taken, then we cruised to our favorite place - the city dump. We have the most wonderful city dump, the views are beautiful. After the cruise, we enjoyed a potluck lunch at the home and Bruce and Theresa. The weather was very nice - a little cold, but dry! I think we even had a little sun.

"Our Trunk or Treat" event was held on Tuesday, October 31st. There were lots of trick-or-treaters. Some of us ran out of candy by 6:30. (And we had 300 pieces in our trunks.) The weather was clear and dry, but very cold. All the kids and most of the adults had costumes. It was a very colorful event! We had a lot of nice "thank you's" from the adults who thought this was a wonderful idea. Sincere thanks go out to Theresa and Bruce for hosting this fun event and opening their house to us."              Our Sequim Discovery Cruise" held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 started out a little overcast. But the sun came out about noon. And the day was lovely. Everyone received goody-bags filled with information about Sequim, goodies, and chocolate from We Do Fudge. We cruised around Sequim and ended up at Penelope's home for a picnic in her back yard. A big "thank you" to Penelope for her wonderful hospitality and her homemade ice-cream. She gave us a wonderful ending to a wonderful day. We started our cruise at the Fairmount Restaurant on Hwy 101 just outside Port Angeles on Saturday, June 10th. There were ten members and two guests. Theresa's daughter and son-in-law joined us. We had seven VWs. The weather was not bad. Cloudy with just a few sprinkles now and then. After leaving the restaurant, we cruised to the Elwha bridge where we stopped to take pictures, then drove to the end of the bridge where we parked and walked to the observation deck under the bridge. Nice views of the river. We then cruised to Salt Water Recreational Area and drove through the bunkers. From there we drove to East Beach on Lake Crescent. There were lots of cars. We have never had other cars there. It was almost full. But we can squeeze VWs in anywhere and we all fit. Our last stop was at the Black Diamond Community Hall where we all said our good-byes.
