Our club took a short cruise through Port Angeles following our monthly meeting today (Sunday, August 4, 2013). We checked out the "new" Railroad Avenue and Oak Street projects. The esplanade project to improve the waterfront should be done by the end of the summer. But they just opened the two streets to traffic. As we turned off of Lincoln Street onto Railroad Avenue a group of 4-5 teenaged boys whipped out their cell phones and began recording our "train" of 4 VW buses and 3 VW bugs cruising around the corner! This was fun for our new members to see!
We then cruised to Ediz Hook where we enjoyed each other's company and the view. Another member in his bus joined us on the Hook. Beautiful day!
