This was our club's first annual mini golf and cruise event. It was a blast! The weather wasn't too bad either. We took a very "mini" cruise out to Freshwater Bay, then traveled a short distance to the mini golf course. The course is owned by some friends of Theresa's and they just do it as a very fun hobby. It's an amazing little place and a fun course and I think we were very lucky to be able to play there. The course owners were VERY hospitable and nice and even cooked our hot dogs for us! Despite the fact that Dave and Francie have never played mini golf, Francie came in second to Bruce and Dave got an amazing hole in one! Rodney got a hole in one and so did one of Tim and Destiny's girls. Every time someone gets a hole in one, you have to go hit a triangle bell that was shaped like an eagle! It was such a fun day.
Taking in the view at Freshwater Bay.
On the Elwha River Bridge!
Theresa and Destiny help set up the hospitality hut.
The instructions directed us to "have fun". We are great at following instructions.
Bruce tees off on the loop-de-loop. Bruce hates loop-de-loops.
This is a very Volkswagen friendly course!!!
Bruce, Dave and Francie are confounded by their balls!
This is one of Vinnie's cars representing on the German themed hole!
Dave takes a risky shot through the snake pit!!!
Here's a view of the hospitality area and the fire pit. I was so amazed by this fun magical place.
Each hole had a theme. The main theme changes every year. This year is "Mini Golf Around the World" and each hole represented a different country.
The Holland hole!
I can't remember, but I think this one is Tokyo.
The Hawaiian hole!
The golf pros with their cars!
