We cruised to Hurricane Ridge, about 17 miles south of Port Angeles, on Sunday, August 16th. We had seven VWs with an eighth one joining us at the ranger station to see us off (it had to get back into town, but wanted to say "hello".)
The weather was gorgeous, with no wind this time, and the view was even better. Lots of deer, camp robbers, and even a chipmunk joined us at the table. Hamburgers, hot dogs, coleslaw, kale salad, chips, pop and ice-cold water filled us up. For dessert we had Paul's famous cherry/pineapple dump cake (yum) and Theresa's Cinnamon Roll Cake (yum, again!).
It was so nice to get together and share conversation. What a fun time!
