"This is our first cruise of the 2018 year. We called it our "Shack Wacky" cruise. ("Shack Wacky" is Canadian for "I need to get out!") We were going to cruise along the forest service road off Palo Alto Road in Sequim, but decided it would be too wet and muddy. So we drove to South Point Road near the Hood Canal Floating Bridge. Then drove back-roads to Quilcene where we had lunch at the Timberhouse Restaurant. Wonderful company, good food, and fun conversation! It was nice to laugh after a cold winter!
A rainy start at the Sequim Wal-Mart....
"So, do your wipers work?" "Yeah....I think so....do yours?"
Yay! Parked at the Timberhouse Restaurant in Quilcene.
The owner of the restaurant snapped our picture! Really nice guy! From left: Rodney, Francie, Dave, Bruce, Theresa, Annie, Vern, Jan, Nate, and Carmen.
The Timberhouse is a really nice place to eat with great food!
A very faint rainbow on the drive back......
Volkswagens......making other drivers crazy since.....well, forever.
