The Raker's Car Show in Port Townsend was on June 16th, and the Strait Air Volksgrüppe participated with 3 cars in the show. There were some other VW's there as well, from Whidbey Island, Shelton and Sequim. The winner of the Best VW award was a beautiful Beetle from Shelton. A good time was had by all and it was a gorgeous day for a show!

The Awards being given out. The couple in the foreground with the VW jacket on the chair won the Best VW award. Francie won a raffle prize; a framed version of the show poster. This year's Raker's Show was the most well attended since we started doing it. Perhaps if more members come next year we can win the club trophy!
